I would like to start developing a better website for zonacrew. I was thinking we should redesign the blog, and add a forum and a picture gallery. What else do you think we should have on the site? Please comment with any ideas/suggestions.

a few ideas off the top of my heads would be: make a special section for Hand Advice/Help and/or bad beats H-H’s.
“meet the players” section, which would let everyone who visits the blog know who exactly is in the Crew’ and something small telling about each player.
I think under ‘Archives’ we should incorporate a calendar w/ specific dates marked to upcoming events, so it will be more noticeable, as you can check on our ‘upcoming events page’ it hasnt been updated since wcoop(sept.), and now that everyone is 21+ almost(no diss here Lee) everyone is going to be playing alot more live events, and it would be nice for everyone to keep up.
And last, but def not least…a special page dedicated for Articles written by any Zona Crew associates, aka the Leaf.

o ya sry, forgot; a section that lists the players name, and all the sites they play on/what names they play under.(this could work well with the ‘meet the players’ if we do something similar to that)

Yea a “Recent Scores” section or something of the sort would be sick, as well as an Off-Topic section where people could post stuff totally non-poker material like music, sports, etc.

This will take some long hard thought from me. I will brainstorm and come back with ideas.
I think the most important change has to be in the web design, though. A good looking site that’s easy to navigate is essential. I’ll think about this hard and come up with ideas and talk to everyone about them in the near future.
I definitely think that the blog should be revamped. Zona Crew is getting a lot of attention lately, and it would be a lost opportunity to not take advantage of that.
